Hi, I'm Dakota — the eye behind k0taa Photos.

Photography started as a creative hobby and grew into a way of life. Based in Las Vegas, I make photographs that feel like scenes from your favorite coming-of-age film — soft, emotional, a little nostalgic, completely you.

My style is heavily inspired by vintage film and cinema — rich greens, warm tones, soft grain, and honest emotion. Instead of chasing trends, I want to make images you'll still love years from now.

My goal is simple: to capture not just what a moment looked like, but what it felt like.

Kind Words

Notes from the people in front of the lens.

Dakota is my favorite photographer and always the first person I call. Coming from someone who gets shy, he makes taking pictures feel easy — a comfortable environment, gentle direction, and turnaround that doesn't take weeks.
Ashley G.
Portrait client
Truly one of the best photographers I know. Dakota has an incredible eye for the beauty, emotion and essence of every moment, and the second the camera comes out it feels natural to be confident in front of it.

Family session
If you're looking for someone who can bring your vision to life while making the whole experience feel enjoyable — Dakota is your photographer. Warm, patient, and completely dialed in from the very first frame.

Philosophy

Memories over trends.
Feeling over perfection.

The best photographs aren't just beautiful — they make you feel something. Cinematic, imperfect, honest. That's the whole point.

Start Your Roll

Let's make something worth looking back on.

Tell me a little about your session — the who, when, and the feeling you want to remember. I read and reply to every message personally.
